ENHANCED KEYBOARD DRIVER VMWARE 12 DRIVER
I have thought about using more of the ethernet ports on the back of the server (8 of them exist), I created another port group, and a virtual switch tied to a port for testing still no difference.Īt the moment all the virtual machines are working, I spent about 5 hours last night tinkering with it in order to get it working for production the next day.The VMware enhanced keyboard driver is a software that enables you to have a better experience when using your keyboard in virtual machines. There has got to be a way to not have to fiddle with the network adapters in order to get the virtual machines to see the internet. This current host is on ESXi 6.5U2 (I have it scheduled to be upgraded to ESXi 7.0 later in October.) I would add the network adapter again, and try it and it won't work.Īfter a few times of fiddling with adding the network adapter to the virtual machines it will work, you can then ping locally and outside within the virtual machine. (iLO was not configured) Once I rebooted the Host up, which had no issues virtual machines would not receive internet. I managed to turn off all the VMs last night and had to turn off the server just for a few minutes to look at something. I have a server "host3" that has about 11 Virtual Machines running from it.
